Hi! I'm Brittany and I'm so glad you're here!

So, until we have a chance to sit down and actually get to know each other, here's a few things that you might would like to know:

I'm a wedding & family photographer based in Olive Branch, MS (but up to travel!!) I have been shooting for almost seven years but professionally for about three years. I've photographed several weddings, so many family sessions, and (my favorite) met some amazing people!

Through my work, my hope is that you'll see timeless, beautiful light, creative variety, and attention to detail. Most of all, I want to show life. (Showcasing you being you is my most favorite thing to do). Weddings, like life, are bold and overflowing, emotional, and always connected. My goal is to capture all that in my work so those emotions stand still for you and last for years to come. You don't get to redo this day, so let's make it count!!

Family sessions; sometimes you think it's just another family sessions, but it isn't! These are the photos that your kids and grandkids will look back at. See how they grew over the years. The crazy hair cuts and funny clothes you put them in overtime. These are the photos that your family will gather around the table (whether that's a coffee table in your living room or a dinning room after Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner) and talk about the years, laugh at the stories, and talk about the memories that were created. My goal at family sessions are to capture your family...being your family! Kids want to run around and have fun instead of take that posed photo....Let them! My style is very candid with a few posed photos. It allows the kids to warm up to me and not dread coming back to future family sessions! (As you can tell, family sessions are some of my favorite!!)

LET'S BE HONEST, WRITING ABOUT YOURSELF IS A BIT WEIRD...

A FEW MORE DETAILS:

I've been married to the love of my life for seven years now. Together we have two beautiful girls (if you've spent any time on my website looking at images throughout, chances are that you've seen them).  I love spending time with my family and friends. Jam sessions in my car are a daily occurrence! Dance sessions are a must and I may occasionally break out into song at random (probably during your session, so just don't mind me when it happens. Haha).

I've played softball my whole life and still continue to play in a co-ed league here in Olive Branch. I also love Sunday rides in the Jeep with the top off. Road trips are the best. Traveling is something I don't think I will ever get tired of. I love exploring new things and seeing new beautiful places. (Got a place you recommend? TELL ME!!) I have a problem saving different AirBnBs in an album labeled "One day". Haha.

Cookouts are the best (who doesn't love food?) and corn hole is always a must play at our cookouts!

I'm a firm believer that God has a plan for everything and that everything happens for a reason!

But enough about me; let's learn about you!!

Let's connect!

I shared so much about myself and how I shoot. If it sounds like we would be a good fit, let's get in touch and setup a meeting! Again, I love meeting new people!

about

the logo

I wanted to share a little bit about our logo.

When I was creating this logo I wanted something strong. I wanted something that represented myself.

I like to think of myself as a strong woman.

I'm a wife, I'm a mother. I'm a business owner. I'm a daughter, I'm a sister, and I'm a damn good friend! I've put my body through a lot.

I've always been drawn to hexagons so I started there. After reading up on them, I knew that was perfect. I then knew I wanted some type of flower but didn't know what, just yet. So I did some research and thought a gladiolus would be just the right touch.

Hexagon.

The hexagon is the strongest shape known. Not many people know this but if you want something to hold a lot of weight pick a hexagon. Hexagonal patterns are prevalent in nature due to their efficiency.

Gladiolus.

This flower was used in ancient Roman times to celebrate the victorious gladiators (hence the name) and is thus a symbol of strength and perseverance. Another name of this flower is sword lily, which is quite a good name given its shape. It comes from the iris family.
